Caudalie

Caudalie's founders own a vineyard in France from which they source all of their patented grape-derived antioxidants: resveratrol, polyphenols, and viniferine.  Because they grow their own ingredients, they are able to include much higher concentrations in their products compared to other brands for the same price point, since other brands are buying these ingredients through distributors who add cost to the ingredients.  Caudalie has also developed lipid-soluble delivery systems for the active ingredients so that these antioxidant-rich products aren't alcohol-based like most on the market - this makes them not only more gentle but also more deeply absorbing and effective.

Verso

Verso is based in Stockholm and has created an innovative range centered on Retinol 8, a deeply absorbing and super potent retinoid called retinyl retinoate.  Retinol rationale has been shown in clinical studies to be less inflammatory than other forms of retinol, making it an excellent choice for skin that has had a difficult time tolerating retinoids due to the redness and peeling that other formulations can cause.  Retinyl retinoate has also been shown to increase hyaluronan production in the skin, meaning that it helps it hold onto water and increases its density.  Retinoids are the gold standard for reversing the signs of photoaging and intrinsic aging, and these formulations are the state of the art.

SK-II

Japanese scientists observed that the skin on sake workers' hands was soft and even-toned even if their faces were very aged, and discovered a substance in the fermenting rice that they named Pitera™. Only found in SK-II products, Pitera™ is full of vitamins, amino acids, minerals and organic acids that work together to allow the skin’s natural surface rejuvenation process to function at its prime. Pitera™ bears close resemblance to the skin’s Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF), and therefore sinks into the skin with extraordinary efficacy to add hydration and restore a youthful look. These products truly have a cult following in Asia, and Sherber+Rad are carrying the iconic products that made the line famous.

Odacité

Odacité was created in L.A. when its French founder was diagnosed with breast cancer and wanted a freshly made natural organic skincare line that would deliver results of the luxury brands that she had been accustomed to using.  Initially distributed only to private clients, the line then expanded into a full brand based on demand for these products that are uniquely free of synthetic preservatives.  Synthetic preservatives are a common irritant in skincare, and this line stands out by avoiding them.  Each product must be used within 6 months of purchase and can be kept in the refrigerator for added longevity of the active ingredients.
